The Classroom
Three decades teaching at higher secondary level. Mentoring thousands of young learners every year provided an invaluable first-hand education in how human minds develop, process emotion, and respond to encouragement.
Teacher, psychologist, family counsellor and trainer — one career spent helping people understand their own minds and act on that understanding.
For more than thirty years, Dr. Abdussalam Salmani taught at high school and higher secondary levels across Kerala. He spent decades working daily with adolescents — the formative age group where identity, career ambition, peer pressure, and self-doubt collide. That deep, lived classroom experience became the bedrock for everything that followed.
A doctorate in psychology, postgraduate degrees in psychology and human resource management, and fifteen years of clinical consulting turned intuitive classroom wisdom into rigorous scientific method. Alongside clinical casework, Dr. Salmani has served as a Career Guidance Counsellor under Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, Senior Resource Person with the Centre for Information and Guidance India (CIGI Calicut), and District Joint Co-ordinator for Career Guidance & Adolescent Counselling in Malappuram.
Today, Dr. Salmani moves seamlessly between the consulting room, the educational campus, and the international keynote stage — bringing the exact same clarity, empathy, and evidence-based guidance to each setting.
Every session, workshop and keynote follows the same principle: people change when they feel understood. Dr. Salmani's mission is to help individuals, families and institutions understand their own minds — and act on that understanding with clarity and confidence.
The same clarity, empathy and evidence-based guidance is brought to the consulting room, the school campus and the training stage.
People change when they are understood, not instructed.Dr. Abdussalam Salmani
Each phase was purposefully built upon the one before it — classroom observation led to clinical inquiry, and clinical mastery expanded to international keynote stages.
